Pavane is a classical-ish piece generated with programming (specifically Python), inspired by Pavane for a Dead Princess by Ravel. Using both classical and electronic instruments and meditative visuals, it represents fusion of past and future.
Artist Statement
Nick Lai is a computational researcher and musician. Classically trained in both piano and violin, he also developed a passion for computer science, publishing AI research and working as a professional software engineer and bioinformatician.
