An embroidery piece featuring a detailed dragon design. The dragon is depicted in vibrant red with yellow accents, including a flowing mane and tail, coiled around itself. The creature's fierce expression is highlighted with intricate stitching. The dragon holds a pearl-like object in its claw. The background is a textured light blue, framed by a hoop wrapped in matching fabric.

Hand Embroidery

My husband says I embroider more in greens and blues, and his challenge to me was red. I think I accomplished that! The project took about eight months to finish and used more shades/skeins of red than I would like to admit.
