This is the Boston Typewriter Orchestra’s 2024 submission for the NPR Tiny Desk Contest. The song is an instrumental built around the IBM Selectric; our first recorded song with a (gasp!) electric typewriter and a squeaky rubber feet solo.
Artist Statement
I’m a songwriter and instrument wrangler. Boston Typewriter Orchestra is collective endeavor which engages in rhythmic typewriter manipulation combined with elements of performance, comedy and satire.
