I made this piece for a drawing class that I took in college last year. The prompt was to take inspiration from different artworks in the MFA and create something that ties into social issues.

Artist Statement

I’ve always enjoyed making art, and drawing is my favorite medium. It’s so satisfying and fun to hone in on something I see and recreate it on paper, with my own twist.
