Pointillism is the practice of creating shading through multiple dots, usually in ink. It is labor intensive, but yields a gradient capacity that ink alone cannot. Because of the wear and tear on the hands I can only do a few pieces a year!
Artist Statement
Jude Heichelbech has a BFA in Painting, but has practiced a variety of art techniques, most of which she uses in her varied pieces. In addition to her nearly 20 year career at Harvard, she is a practicing and performing musician as well.
