The side façade of a building is bathed intermittently in sun and shadow, giving correspondingly a creamy peach, purple, and steel blue in its walls and windows. Neighboring buildings share the same pattern of light with lighter yellow when hit by the sun. The road and pavement are dark in the shade.

In Between

Acrylic

The painting captures a dynamic play of light between two buildings on Mass Ave in Cambridge.

Two utility poles receive the sun, and their brown wood seems orange. There is third pole hit indirectly by the sun and has purple and dark colors. Wires from these poles are dense in the upper part of the painting. Sun-lit facades of buildings and others in the shade are also visible. The colors are bold and high contrast.

Light Industrial

Acrylic

This painting captures the early morning sun coming through telephone wires in Waltham, MA.
