Artist Statement
I am an avid knitter with fourteen plus years of experience after having learned the craft from my children who were at the time, middle schoolers. I grew to love knitting as a tool for relaxation and progressed to the point where I ended up teaching knitting at Harvard University’s Center for Wellness for more than ten years. Presently, as a retiree, I still knit almost every day because it gives me a sense of fulfillment and allows me to participate in communities of other artists who create and contribute to each other’s wellbeing.
