This sketch explores the vibrant colors and architectural details of the 19th century church of Agios Georgios Tou Pigadiou (St. George of the Well), a beautiful Neo-Byzantine structure located on the harbor of Kastellorizo (Megisti) island, Greece.

Artist Statement

I work in various media and enjoy exploring both artistic methods and different types of materials. Many of my artworks are inspired by my love of the Mediterranean world, academic training in Classical Studies, and trips to Greece and well beyond.
