My artwork explores the parallels between music, art, and medicine. A single instrument out of tune or out of synchrony may disrupt the harmony of an entire orchestra. This is not dissimilar to how a single cell within a tissue may lead to cancer.

Stephanie M. Cohen is a general surgery resident who is currently spending 3 years primarily devoted to conducting research at Harvard Medical School exploring the intersection of the arts and healthcare.
