T1 Sculptural Clay

T-1 sculptural clay, in cone 10 glaze (high fired) with blue black glaze (only 1 glaze was used). It broke into the deep textures and pooled, separating the glaze ingredients into two-3 colors- shades of plum & turquoise with some deeper shade of green.

Artist Statement

As a neuroscience administrative lab manager at Harvard, I’ve seen many cellular patterns & shapes. They fascinate me. My passion for art combined with my fascination of arts in science are connected. I’ll always think of them as one in the same. Creativity is key to art & science. It’s this link that’ll be who I am & what I do.
