In black and white, a nude female statue with no head or arms is grasped by multiple hands, with more reaching toward her body from all directions. In the background, a second female statue covers herself with her arms, and two female figures embrace. The scene is framed by a black background.

Graphite and charcoal on paper

I made this piece for a drawing class that I took in college last year. The prompt was to take inspiration from different artworks in the MFA and create something that ties into social issues.
