Found leaves and snake skin
This piece is based on Harriet Hosmer’s Bust of Medusa (1854). It is one of my “re-leaf sculptures” where I use an assortment of pressed leaves to recreate marble statues. Medusa 2 also incorporates the shed skin of a boa constrictor.
